1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using AkosNeat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use it on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. What AkosNeat is

AkosNeat is a software (SaaS) platform for managing residential cleaning services. We are a software provider — we do not perform cleaning services and are not a party to the agreements between a cleaning professional and their clients.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your password and all activity on your account. The business owner is responsible for the accounts they create for their cleaners.

4. Plans, billing, and trial

Plans are billed monthly via Stripe. A free trial is offered as advertised. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Payments via Stripe Connect

Payments collected from a professional's clients are processed via Stripe Connect. Funds go directly to the professional's bank account; AkosNeat does not hold these funds. The professional is responsible for taxes, chargebacks, and disputes related to those charges.

5a. Tax reporting (Form 1099-K)

Payments processed through AkosNeat are handled by Stripe. Where required by law, Stripe may report these payments to the IRS and applicable state tax authorities (including via Form 1099-K) and issue the form to the professional. Each professional is solely responsible for reporting and paying taxes on income received through the platform. AkosNeat does not provide tax advice.

6. Messaging responsibilities

The professional represents that they obtained consent from clients to send SMS and email (TCPA and CAN-SPAM compliance) and that client data is accurate and lawfully collected.

7. Acceptable use

You may not violate laws, send messages without consent, bypass security or cross-account isolation, reverse engineer, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

8. Intellectual property

AkosNeat's software and brand belong to Akos Solutions. Data you enter remains yours; you grant us a limited license to process it to operate the service.

9. Termination

You may cancel anytime; access remains until the end of the paid cycle. After termination, data is retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or anonymized.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.
