1. Roles
For professionals' and employees' data, AkosNeat is the controller. For end-client data entered by a professional, the professional is the controller and AkosNeat is a processor.
2. Data we collect
Account data (name, email, phone, language, authentication via Clerk); client data entered by the professional (contact, address, property access instructions, service history); payment identifiers from Stripe (no card numbers); messaging records; usage and error logs.
3. How we use it
To operate scheduling, process payments, send requested communications, generate reports, provide support, ensure security, and comply with the law.
4. Communications (SMS and email)
We send automated messages at the professional's request and only where the client has consented. SMS follows TCPA — reply STOP to opt out anytime. Email follows CAN-SPAM with an unsubscribe option. Message and data rates may apply.
5. Sharing
Only with providers needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Clerk (authentication), and hosting providers. We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
We keep data while the account is active, then up to 30 days after termination, then delete or anonymize it unless legally required otherwise.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, per-account isolation, role-based access control, and protected secrets. No system is fully secure.
8. Your rights (CCPA and similar)
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data. We do not sell personal data. Requests about end-client data are routed to the responsible professional.
9. Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18.

AkosNeat operates in the United States; data is processed in the U.S.
